Privacy notice (Art. 13 GDPR)
1. Controller
tecis Finanzdienstleistungen AG, at the address above, is the controller for the processing described here. Data protection officer: [Name and contact].
2. What we process, and why
Visiting the site. Our hosting provider processes the technical data of your request (IP address, time, page, browser) in server logs to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). The site is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt).
Page-view statistics. We count page views with a random visitor identifier stored in a cookie (tx_vid, one year) together with the country of the request and the browser language. No name, no email, no cross-site tracking. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding which pages help (Art. 6(1)(f)). [Confirm with legal whether this stays consent-free].
Click analytics, with your consent. If you accept analytics, we record which menu items, buttons and partner links are used, under a separate random identifier (tx_analytics_aid). You can decline, and you can withdraw at any time by deleting the cookies. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a), § 25 TDDDG).
The free check and your report. Your answers stay in your browser until you ask for the full report. Then we store your email, your first name if given, your answers and the generated result, send you a confirmation link (double opt-in), and after you confirm, the report itself. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us.
Guides, newsletter and the community list. Same as above: email, double opt-in, unsubscribe at any time. The community list for Founders Night is collected through a Google Form; Google processes the data on our behalf [confirm DPA].
Booking a call, housing and company requests. Name, email, and what you tell us about your request are stored so we can contact you and prepare the call. Calls are scheduled as Microsoft Teams meetings through our Microsoft 365 account; Microsoft processes the invitation data. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Quotes and consultations. If you request a quote or a consultation, we process the details needed for it (contact data, date of birth, family status, the product you asked about). Cross-selling and marketing use are separate consents you can give or refuse independently. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and, for the optional consents, Art. 6(1)(a).
3. Recipients and processors
Vercel (hosting, EU region), Neon (database, EU), Resend (transactional email), Microsoft 365 (meetings and calendar), Google (community form), Luma and WhatsApp (event registration and the community group, only if you choose to use them), and the partners you decide to be introduced to (for example our housing partner). Each processor is bound by a data processing agreement [list to be confirmed]. We do not sell personal data.
4. Retention
Server logs: [30 days]. Page-view statistics: [13 months]. Check reports, guide and newsletter subscriptions: until you withdraw consent, then deleted within [30 days] except where a legal retention duty applies. Request and consultation data: for the duration of the relationship plus statutory retention periods (up to 10 years for commercial records).
5. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. You may complain to a supervisory authority; the one competent for us is [Landesbeauftragte/r für Datenschutz].
6. No automated decisions
The free check is deterministic orientation, not a decision with legal effect: it applies fixed rules to your answers and shows you the reasoning. No profiling in the sense of Art. 22 takes place.
7. Cookies and local storage
Strictly necessary: none beyond session handling. Statistics: tx_vid. Analytics with consent: tx_analytics_consent, tx_analytics_aid (one year). Convenience: your check answers and checklist progress are kept in your browser's local storage until you clear them; they never leave your device unless you request the report.
8. Changes
We update this notice when the processing changes. The date at the top tells you the current version.
